D'fhágamar slán le Rang 6 inniu don uair deireanach agus cé gur chúis bhróin dúinn é scaoileadh leo, táimid bródúil astu agus lán le dóchas don todhchaí iontach atá rompu, pé scoil ar a dtéann siad san Fhómhar. Dóibh siúd a thugann aghaidh ar an nGaelcholáiste áfach, ní fada go mbeimid ar ais le chéile ar an suíomh nua, mar go bhfuil ár dtógálaithe Ganson ag treabhadh go tréan leo na scoileanna nua a thógáil a luaithe agus is féidir. Feicfidh sibh thuas go bhfuil ballaí ardaithe cheana féin acu agus tá súil againn go leanfaidh an dul chun cinn ar luas lasrach i rith an tsamhraidh ionas gur féidir linn tosnú ar na hullmhúcháin chun muid a aistriú transa an droichead. Is cosúil nach bhfuil ach bliain amháin eile le cur isteach anseo againn agus go mbeimid agus an Ghaelcholáiste le chéile faoi Fómhar 2027.
We bade farewell to Rang 6 today for the last time and while it was sad to see them go, we are very proud of them and full of optimism for the wonderful futures they have ahead of them, regardless of which school they go to in the autumn. For those of our graduates who go to the Gaelcholáiste however we are now confident that it will not be long before we are reunited on our new site, as our builders Ganson are working away to ensure that the new schools are constructed as rapidly as possible. You can see on the image above that walls have already been erected and we hope that this progress continues at a rapid pace during the summer so that we can start thinking about preparing for the big move across the bridge. It looks like we have but one more year to put in in our current home and that ourselves and the Gaelcholáiste will be in our new schools by the autumn of 2027.
